Island Menpachi - Japanese for soldier fish. In Hawaiian it is called U'U'. This beautiful fish is bright red and has large eyes. The Menpachi hides in caves during the day and feeds at night. The large eyes aides in seeing at night. Great eating fish cooked as deep fried or poached.
